The Sierra Buttes are the most majestic range I have ever seen. 
Super rocky buttes, and snow still on them.
When Crystal and Heather were 7 and 2, we got a jeep ride almost all the way up there, and then hiked all the way up to the fire lookout. It was super scary, but wow, those peaks are about 12,000 ft. high, give or take. We could see the ocean from up there.
Pretty cool!
