Making sauces, tomatoe and chili verde is on top of the list for me today.

Our first ripe tomatoes, hopefully the one's we brought to the fair ripened like this by the judging last night.

We will find out tonight when we go to the fair, how our veggies "faired"!

This is what it looked like the other night when we dropped off our veggies at the Lath House.

There were tons of entries this year, unlike last year. I heard the other night people stopped entering their veggies because they stopped the money prizes.

Wow, I thought that was sad, it isn't about the prize it is about the community part of it.

I am sure by tonight the rides will be going full throttle, it is the first day of the fair.

We will go after Matt gets home from work, and there is also a Battle of the Bands tonight with you kids, under 19 and over 19.

It should be really fun.
