We drove home from mom and dad's last evening, long drive, but so nice to sleep in our own bed.
It was a nice visit with mom and dad.
I will post pictures later today...got some cool ones.

Going To Crystal & James
Tomorrow we are on our way to Crystals for Matt to hook up sprinklers and a clock in their backyard. Then next week when we come back from Moms we will install the sod. Then this summer Crystal will have a grassy backyard for the boys this summer. Yeah!
We are going to be able to visit with the grandbabies for the day and night, then first thing in the morning we are driving to mom and dads for the week. My hearing is on Thursday and we will come back home next Friday, then to Crystal's again on Sat.
We are also going to be able to visit with Mark and Beth on Sunday for the day. We haven't visited with them in almost two years...

Briana
Matt got a call yesterday from Briana, asking when we will send her ticket to come back to go to Kidd Lake?! Right, Matt says to me I really don't know how to deal with this in a nice way. I told him I would handle it for him. So we chatted for awhile, all along my blood is boiling for the mere fact that she has enough balls to even ask to come back...So I told Matt, I will text her and we will deal with it right now.
So I texted her "NO KIDD LAKE"...we haven't heard another word. I am sure she now realizes that we DID GET HER BAD ATTITUDE LAST YEAR....AND NO YOU ARE NOT COMING BACK...
I hate it when people think we are SCHMUCKS!

Spring Is Here
Today is the first day of Spring, although you would never know that by how it looks outside...It looks as if it will storm any moment. I am sure it is in the stars to do so in the next couple days.
I gave up candy again for lent, so when I saw this background, I loved it. And of course, I need to tempt myself all the time!
Hope everybody's first day of spring is a happy one.

Crystal
Oh daughter of mine:
You make me laugh everyday with your postings of your challenging days raising your boys. It so reminds me of when you two were little. Although I did have 5 years difference, it was as challenging. There were so many days when I thought OMG Can I really do this? So many days, I thought to myself, NO! But the truth is somehow we find the strength to pull through another LOOONG day and night. When you are going through each day, it seems like forever. But the truth is that it is not long at all. Before you know it they will be going off to college and to find themselves. It is at this time we, as mothers, wish so badly, those hard days were back. When you are my age you will understand. But, in the meantime, I am always here for you, even if that is just to listen to you.
YOU ARE A GREAT MOM, AND I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU EVERY DAY!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
No rain this morning, yeah! Matt went to try to work this am...we are going over to Tom's tonight for a BBQ. Yes, we are expecting snow tonite down to 2000 ft. It is semi sunny right now. Strange weather. I finished the Invitation to our Anniversary Party. Hopefully you all received it in the email...if not call and let me know and I will send another.

72 + Hours of Rain
Matt and I have still been in the house all week long...It has been raining since late Monday nite, non-stop. It is not supposed to stop until sometime Monday or Tuesday, with the snow level coming down to 2000 feet on Sunday...Great! Unfortunately Matt cannot work in this stuff...We have gotten over 8 inches of rain, isn't that crazy. Boy mom and dad sure could use some of this rain.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend. Happy St. Patrick's Day tomorrow. I am going to cook Corned Beef and Cabbage, sounds good doesn't it?
Love to all...

Camera Is Frozen
I am not sure what is exactly wrong with my camera...I have taken some really cool pictures and my camera is now frozen open. Yes, the lense is extended and won't close? So when I can figure this out, I will add some pictures. I hope you are all enjoying Crystal's pictures of the kids on her site. If not, it is so worth seeing these adorable grandchildren of mine. he he... www.cmakes3.blogspot.com.
Matt and I have been in the house now for several days of incredible rain. Thank goodness we have so much room to roam in now. Compared to last winter when we were in mom and dad's trailer in 2 feet of snow for months. Things have definately improved. I have been getting out for a couple of hours each day for the gym. I love it still. I think I would love my own pool someday!
We are getting ready to go down to visit mom and dad in the next couple weeks. I have my hearing on the 29th of March. Looking forward to seeing the folks, it has been since November. Amazing how time flies so fast. It just reminds me to enjoy each and every minute of every day, because you never know what the next day will bring.

Golden Birthdays
Today is Matt's Golden Birthday. He is 56 today and was born in 1956. We both have our golden birthdays this year.
He is off to work early today, and has to work tomorrow, but we are going to go to a show tomorrow night. It is "Achilles Wheel" , and good rock and roll.
So we are going to our favorite place to eat, called Lefty's Grill, great burgers and micro brews, and then the show is across the street, it will be a night of dancing, yeah. I really need to get my Yaya's out. By the way, I do that by dancing...and the best thing is it only costs $12.00 each.

Hail and Snow
At the gym, in the pool room, there are about 6 or 8 sliding doors along one side of the room. While I was doing water aerobics this morning, I looked out the windows and it was dumping snow...dumping. I knew it wouldn't stick because the wind is quite quick this morning, so I kept going.
When I got home it started hailing, like I have never seen before...hard and fast and lots of it. I don't think I have ever seen that much hail. It lasted for about 15 minutes.
Hmmm, it's probably going to snow soon. The cloud is really low over us, I know it is probably dumping up at Amarals where Matt is diligently trying to get some hours in. It has been really strange weather for about 7 days now.
I took a video of the hail, it was so incredible.
Before I even finished with this blog post, it started to snow, and now the sun is out. Talk about a whole bag of weather...we get it all, here in the foothills. I love it...the snow is pretty and it melts quick where we are living. I think that is definately the best way to experience snow!

Brand New Monday
Today it is about 65 degrees outside, absolutely nothing like a few days ago. Birds are singing, there is a slight breeze, and everything is green, green, green!
It was alot easier to put my bathing suit on this morning, than it was last week in the 35 degree temps. We might get a little rain on Tuesday, but they really do not know, as usual.
My internet was down for the weekend, AT&T customer service was not helpful, but for an extra $36 an unrelated company would fix it for me. Not only did I not want to pay the extra money, but REALLY HOW CAN AN OUTSIDE PERSON FIX MY CONFIGURATION! I was appauled...so today I spent another hour on the phone with an AT&T agent registering my computer to the internet, but she assured me no one else could control my computer...Yeah! I believe her! The whole idea of that scares the #%&$ out of me...
But the good news is now my internet is fixed and there is a BONUS, I now have wireless internet also...my computer works anywhere in my house now...that's pretty cool.
So I learned today to remember: You always have to take the bad with the good!
I hope everyone has a good day!
